A Comfortable Minimal Look

I've just bought this vintage vivienne westwood top so i thought id include it in an outfit. i think the combination of the irregular choice shoes, richard james trousers and the top create a really cute minimal look.

MY NEW COAT!

This coat falls beautifully creating a long, relaxed silhouette and fastens with three large press studs that are concealed when closed. The faux fur collar collar is removable but i generally wear mine as i think its part of the coats effect. there are also fur patches in the same material on both elbows. There are two pockets on the front of the coat with a contrasting stitched border, which also runs along the placket and around the hemline. this coat will be featuring in the outfit i will be wearing for my brothers wedding. previously priced at £2,014.

I've been thinking of doing this go a while, from today I'm going to post a picture of every outfit I wear. This might happen twice a dear or once in two days depending on my circumstances.

SKIRT ALERT

For a while now, there has been a growing trend of the man skirt. I personally love this idea, and think more men should try wearing a skirt. In this post I will be trying to convert the none believers and appealing to fashion designers everywhere that they should take heed of Givenchy and add a skirt to their mens clothing line.

Kanye west, for a while now has famously worn and promoted the clothes of Givenchy, helping to confirm its move from traditional french fashion house to cutting edge contemporary label. As you can see from the picture Kanye is wearing Givenchy's trade mark skirt along with a Rottweiler motif top and jacket.

Designer and fashion patron, Marc Jacobs included in Time magazine's "2010 Time 100" list of the 100 most influential people in the world,and ranked number 14 on Out magazine's 2012 list of "50 Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America". Is surely the person that can convince the world that man skirts are the next big trend. Jacobs is known for wearing skirts and is almost becoming part of his trade mark here he is, wearing a variety of skirts;

Now I know a kilt isnt technically a skirt, but I  think its near enough. Now i think there might be a reason why Mr McGregor often wears a kilt, I think it might be something to do with his massive schlong, or he might be trying to make a statement going back to his scottish roots maybe both? Anyway I think it definitely suits him and he looks especially good wearing a kilt with a leather biker jacket, showing the potential and versatility of a skirt. other men take note!

Vin Diesel

astonashingly, although i have never heard of him (wika pedia says hes an  American actor, producer, screenwriter and director) Vin, in 2003, was one of the fist male celebs to dare to wear a skirt. I think he even did it before the likes of givenchy.

Dior's very exciting new mens collection

Chic and typically french as always, I can't wait to see what will make it to the men's ready to wear in spring. The colours are rigidly patriotic and the cuts simple yet slick. I don't quite agree with the choice of some of the models but I can't have everything. I love this outfit, it's simple yet chic with the double-breasted blazer and blue trousers and lovely blue shoes.  p.s i would also recommend watching the dior 'CAN I MAKE THE MUSIC FLY?' film for a bit of artistic eye candy.
